Center of the World

In the project 'Center of the World' a small village is turned into the center of the world. Impressions of the nearby surroundings, the big cities around the village, the different countries and cultures, are brought to the small village and presented in a media-installation to the local people. The local people are invited to enter the installation, a virtual metro-network, and to send their wishes and dreams into the different directions into the world outside their village. This project will take place in Spring/Summer 2008 and can be presented as a lecture/presentation during ISEA2008.
